PITTS SPECIAL S2B FLIGHT FROM BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA TO MALAYSIA The pilot was Mal Beard the Australian Aerobatics Champion. This is one of the longest flights undertaken by a Pitts Special. The longest flight leg was 550NM still holding reserve fuel. The extra fuel was carried by a custom made Turtle-Pac Ferry Tank set on the forward seat and secured by seat belt harnesses.
