Turtle-Pac Tanks are made to suit to from sport aircraft to Boeing 727's. Standard filler cap is aircraft fitting, aluminium alloy 6082 T6 Ø3" to facilitate speedy refuelling from high volume pumps or jerry cans on remote airfields. Tank fitting is aluminium alloy and stainless steel clamps are fitted to filler neck. Outlet is usually AN-6 Ø3/8" or AN-8 Ø3/4" The fabric is nylon 940-dTex double coated polyurethane polyether suitable for Avgas and jet fuel. Construction is HF welding, lightweight but robust for many years safe use. The tank is usually single skin to minimise weight. Each tank is pressure tested before delivery.

The tank is usually fitted in the space created by the removal of the passenger seats. NO storage box required. Sturdy tie-downs are incorporated in the construction and the tank is grounded to the airframe. A folded up tank can be carried as luggage on commercial flights. A 600 Lt, (158 Gall) tank when empty weights only 9kg (20 lbs) approx.

Two TURTLE-PAC ROLLDRUMS each containing 500 Lt (132 Gall) fit comfortably onto the tray of a 1 Ton Ute with some space left over. ROLLDRUMS can be filled on the truck and secured using the tough tie-downs incorporated into the design. Then at your destination simply roll them off onto soft ground or use an old tyre as a cushion over concrete. ROLLDRUMS can then be rolled to where they are needed as the have an anti abrasion cover which protects the tank body. Each ROLLDRUM is fitted with one 38mm (1.5") filler and 20mm (3/4") outlet. Empty tanks take up hardly any space and leave the vehicle's cargo area free to carry other goods NOT empty rigid containers. A full ROLLDRUM will also fit onto a pallet for loading by forklift.

Fourteen (14) full ROLLDRUM 500's will fit into a 20 foot shipping container. ROLLDRUMS can be floated and towed on water providing an airspace is left for buoyancy. Resupply remote islands or beaches. Optional anti-surge harness used only if the tank is partially full.
