DROP SPHEROID 100 is compact tank to handle – roll by one person out of aircraft or on ground. Extremely tough tank to suit remote area operations for Diesel – Jet A – Avgas – Drinking water. Can lift by helicopter as underslung cargo or carry in cargo hold.
Inside fixed wing aircraft fuselage easy to roll forward for W&B then roll to door for drop.

Transfer pump kit 12 or 24 volt. Transfer diesel or water – Jet- A . JP-8. Capacity 32 litre 8.5 gal per minute at 14 PSI to 9.7 metre 32 ft head. Includes 4 metres 13 ft of electric cable with alligator battery clips. Hose 25 mm ¾” 4 metres 13 ft. Suction end connects to SPHEROID outlet – outlet end fitted with male camlock.

FAST – MOST ACCURATE FOR SMALL DROP ZONES – COST EFFECTIVE – UTILIZE THE AIRCRAFT OF OPPORTUNITY as Cessna 206 – Cessna 208 – DHC-2 Beaver– DHC-6 Twin Otter – P-750 – CASA 212 – Short 330 etc.
Also can be deployed from faster transport aircraft as C130 Hercules – C-17 – AN-32 etc.
NO PARACHUTE drop success depends, on pilots skill and willingness to fly at 70 knots or slower – at 50 ft or lower. Must avoid concrete and rocky ground. Tank can bust ! If not stay within operational limitations.
Expected number of times reuse:
1.) Air dropped with parachute: Over 100 x cycles as long avoid – sharp rock and tree canopies or similar highly destructive ground.
2.) Air dropped with no parachute: As long stay within limitations of 50 ft 15 Metre height – 70 knots 130 km speed. – avoid concrete – sharp rocks and trees or similar highly destructive ground. 5 x cycles. BUT if ground is soft as sand over 20 x cycles. If pilot can fly lower and slower the re-usable cycle will increase.
